Breath Workshop from 11-1

Breathe & Sing with Tamsen Fynn

Saturday Jan 31st from 11-1

Payment through The Freight

We will focus on engaging and lengthening the breath, vocal phrasing, creating space for resonance, sound placement, and taming the tongue.

Using Seven Bridges Road and Jackson to shape, sustain, and support our singing voices, we will connect with the breath as a way to communicate and shape the song while slowing down the breath cycle to notice and guide the exhale, pause, and inhale, followed by the activation of the diaphragm. This practice is both energizing and calming, and helps release tension in the throat, jaw, and tongue.

The Ivy Room

Tamsen Fynn and Her Handsome Band

Sunday Afternoon, March 8th

Our Band Plays at 4:30

Tamsen Fynn will be playing philosophical indie-folk with a touch of irony, but mostly love. We’ve got Mike Sugar on guitar and bass, Mark Bernfield on drums, and Eduardo Morell on cello.

We would be flattered to share your company and there is a fab delicatessen for snacking, open ‘til 6:00, at the corner of San Pablo Ave & Solano Ave, PICNIC… I’m just sayin’
